the "Tomboy"
Working on some concept art to be modeled in 3d... He wanted a "Tomboy" I did this as a rough sketch... I may try to do a walk cycle for her... just for fun, as I've never tried it before... We'll see :)

Samorya - line drawing
A line drawing (if you didn't notice *yeah*) of my main in World of Warcraft
This is her at a younger age. I used a pigment liner and some time at work...
Not much else to say about this...
Webcomic Character - Aaron
Some more sketches of Aaron... for the webcomic... I like the face on the full body pose, although I'm not such a big fan on the body, and the face to the right of the page (inked)...The blue and the left hand drawing are really not what I was meaning to draw. I couldn't seem to stop my brush from spewing out crap *sighs* :)
I seem to be having a lot of trouble with his "unhappy" facial expressions, ie: sad, angry, hurt, etc... He just looks old and defeated, and I'm not going for that look.....
Webcomic Character - Syd
Some more rough sketches for my webcomic characters... I had a lot of fun drawing the emotions of this one...it's funny, because this character had started out being my least favourtie to draw, and I think she's actually shaping up to be pretty entertaining...
The first expression is pretty obvious, I would assume. The second: She's kinda pouting...I would hope that these would be pretty self explanitory, but one friend didnt get the second pose...thought she was pushing her gut up with her arms... *hrm*
The third and fourth were my fave to do, and I drew them simultaneously... Kind of one is leading in to the other :)
Carbon Sketch - "sweetmadness"
Found some cool stock photos on Deviant Art : http://sweetmadness-stock.deviantart.com/
I liked the curve in her right arm, so I drew it... Generally pretty happy with it, although she might look a little wider when compared directly to the source material, but I think it stands well alone...

Characters for my comic...Edna
This is Edna...
He is a version of my dwarf hamster who recently passed away... While RL Edna was a little sweetie, this guy isn't. He's mouthy, manipulative, and, well....he's just an ass...
He has a Russian accent, although I'm not sure how apparent this will be in the comic...
So much for not doing backstory, hey? It's a little hard not to though, when you're posting a talking hamster... Something like that prolly needs some explanation :)...
Characters for my Comic... Syd
This is me...Kinda...
Again for the comic, rough pen drawing, I'm just trying to hash out the characters at this point, get their personalities down somwhat. I'm not quite that smarmy in real life...
The second sketch was originally a caracature of myself when gaming, but it suits the "Syd" character freakishly well... Note the dark circles under the eyes, the crazed gleam, the tounge out in concentration, actually moving "with" her character whilst playing... yeah...
Characters for my Comic...Aaron
These characters are for an upcoming web comic I intend to make... This is Aaron... He's an actual guy, so it might be a little strange getting into the character backstory here... All will become pretty apparent in the comic though, and there's really not that much you need to know...
The first was pencil crayon with pigment liner, the second just a pencil sketch... The scanner kinda washed them out, but...
Personally I prefer the first, the second looks a little top-heavy.
Hawksley Workman
One of my better paintings, IMHO...
I did this one a while back, but it's my fave, so I couldn't not include it :)
Its about 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches....I think, can't remember...but it's on the smallish side.
It's acrylic on stretched canvas... that's my hand... and that's my old studio wall... nice wall, huh?
I called this one "Paper Shoes", and actually (sadly) painted it for Hawksley Workman himself... I was going backstage at his concert and was going to give it to him, but liked it too much...so screw you Ryan ;)
Profile Doodle 01
Kind of a doodle that I liked, so I inked 'er and erased the pencil lines...When I scanned it in, I cleaned the mouth up a tad, and gave her an iris...
Actually inspired from this 'Fantasy Art" book that I had fawned over a few years ago, then I promptly forgot the name of the book and moved across country... I've been searching online and in chapters for the bloody thing for months, then after paying off my massive fines and the library, stumbled across it there. It's not so hot after all, a little better than most, but it's got wicked profiles of different characters... I really liked the nose on one, this is my tribute...
Gwen Stefani Sketch
A sketch of Gwen Stefani... My own private draw jam... I kind of liked the stupid get-up she was in, so I thought it would be fun to draw... I didn't put that much effort in to her face, although I prolly should have... I didn't make her anywhere near as doe-eyed and daffy as she looked, and I don't think her nose is long enough... *shrugs* It's all about the clothes, right ? :)
Not bad for the 20 minutes that I must have put in it... One for the scrap box, anyways...
